How Prices Are Compared

We calculate individual ticket costs using the standard adult rate directly from the official ticket office or official website.

Booking Fees

If a landmark mandates an online reservation with an additional fee (e.g., the €2 Colosseum fee), this amount is explicitly detailed in our analysis.

Inclusion Verification

Whether a monument is included in a pass is verified against the official pass provider lists. We treat missing or contradictory data as UNKNOWN to avoid making incorrect assumptions.

Promotional Pricing

We only use base prices. We do not incorporate temporary discounts or reduced prices based on age/disability into our primary calculations, as these vary widely.

Pricing Analysis Calculation

Our analysis compares the exact mathematical sum of all attractions and public transport against the official pass cost to reveal if there is genuine savings for the standard traveler.

Update Frequency

Prices and booking rules change frequently. Each monument page transparently displays the exact date (Last Verified) when a human last checked its data for accuracy.
